Production Manager

 

Prescott Park Arts Festival is looking for a production manager for our upcoming 40th season. The production manager is responsible is responsible for all events that take place during season. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, advancing artists/incoming performers; maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff, actors, performers, and audience members; working with other staff members to ensure performance excellence.

Stage Manager

Prescott Park Arts Festival is looking for a stage manager for our upcoming production of "SHREK, The Musical." The stage manager oversees all aspects of the musical during the full season.

Site Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, the Site Manager will have primary responsibility of maintaining a safe and clean environment during the 2014 Performance Season. This person will be the primary point of contact for the Production Manager and General Manager.

Festival Internship

As a Festival Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply the skills necessary to produce a summer music and theatre festival. The intern will support and work closely with both the General Manager, Executive Director, and full production staff in overseeing day-to-day operation of the festival. Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the creation and dissemination of communication between staff, cast, and technical crew; managing logistics for concerts and productions; assisting marketing efforts; coordination of membership programs; assisting with facilities-related issues and logistics; and serving as on-duty staff in the Festival Office. The Festival Intern will gain firsthand knowledge of festival production by the end of the season.

Business Management Intern

This is a hands-on business management oriented internship. You'll develop skills that you'll use in the job market or in your own future business. This position is responsible for assisting in the scheduling of seasonal employees; assist in the inventory, ordering, and maintaining product stock; and management of seasonal employees in Concession Stand. Working closely with the Operations Manager, General Manager, and on-site seasonal staff, this person will acquire firsthand knowledge and experience in the daily operations of the Festival.

Marketing Intern

This position is ideal for someone with great communication skills, as well as knowledge of Social Media and community databases. This person will assist the staff in all aspects of their job including Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, and blogs); updating community calendars constantly; maintaining the Membership database; handling general business calls; planning, marketing, and executing Festival events; website updates; and AD sales. Working closely with the Project Manager, this person will gain firsthand knowledge of the marketing strategies for a popular and successful summer Festival.

Site/Production Management Intern

This position is ideal for someone who is interested in all aspects of event site management. This person will assist the Site Manager in the day to day management of the Festival site. These duties include setup and breakdown of the site, performer load-in and load-out, crowd management, and more. Working closely with all staff, this person will gain firsthand knowledge on how to run a successful summer Festival.

Hospitality Management Intern

This position calls for an energetic, dedicated and creative individual to support the Production Manager in all aspects of performer hospitality. The Hospitality Intern will serve as an essential member of the Festival team and will work closely with all members of the staff while reporting directly to the Production Manager. The successful candidate will be a personable, highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter equally at ease working independently and collaboratively.
