Join us as the Gundalow hosts a series of dockside musical performances on the deck of the historic replica gundalow docked at Prescott Park in Portsmouth, NH. Bring a friend, bring a chair, and enjoy these free musical treats!  

Wednesday, July 6 American Folk Music   5:15pm

Join the Gundalow Company as local musicians gather to swap toe-tapping tunes and old-time songs. These folks will share traditional acoustic folk music and lead rousing chorus songs, bringing banjos, guitars, fiddle and mandolin onboard.

Friday, July 8 Quintessence   5:30pm

Enjoy this woodwind quintet as they perform baroque, classical jazz, and ragtime music from the deck of the gundalow. Fromed by principal wind players from a local orchestra, this group features French horn, clarinet, flute, oboe, and bassoon.

Saturday, July 9 Piscataqua River Brass   6:30 - 7:30pm

Delight in the high-powered sound of massed brass instruments and percussion as this unique musical voice presents a mix of genres. The concert will include classical, pop, and marches as well as excerpts from Handel's Water Music - originally composed for a barge similair to the gundalow.
