Prescott Park Arts Festival celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2024!
As we prepare to return to our picturesque waterfront setting in downtown Portsmouth this summer, we are inviting the community to share stories and pictures from the past 50 years to add to the festivities.
You can also email any stories or pictures to anniversary@prescottpark.org
Did you hear? Our very own, Courtney Perkins, was interviewed on the first episode of the new podcast, Seacoast Stories with host, Troy Farkas!
In this conversation, Courtney and Troy discuss:
* How she got the gig during COVID
* The Arts Festival’s unique business model
* Plans for the 50th anniversary this summer
* Casting “Legally Blonde”
* How much she pays the acts to come here, and why they love performing at such a magical venue on the Seacoast .
“I personally can’t wait to see the musical and all the performances this summer. Prescott Park Arts Festival is perhaps this area’s most beloved cultural tradition, so it only makes sense that we preview the 50th anniversary season on this brand-new podcast ” – Seacoast Stories
