with Bunny Wonderland
“Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”- Dr. Seuss
Prescott Park Arts Festival is proud to present Drag Queen Story Hour with Portsmouth’s own Bunny Wonderland!
Join us for a morning of stories, music, and creativity. Bunny Wonderland will read two of her favorite books highlighting inclusion and diversity. We’ll also get crafty and have a chance to get on your feet and dance! This event is geared towards ages 2-8, but all ages are welcome.
There is a $5 suggested donation to attend this event. Craft supplies will be limited, purchase a ticket above to let us know you’ll be attending!
Bunny Wonderland has been working as a professional drag queen in and around New England for over 13 years now. Heralded for her pitch-perfect wit, relatable sense of humor, and a heart that never stops growing, Bunny is a force of veritable drag goodness. In addition to her irreverent performance style, Bunny has a formal education in ECE (Early Childhood Education) with a focus on emergent literacy-based curriculum. A former lead teacher at Youth and Family Outreach (Portland, ME) and Gymboree (Rye, NH) Bunny is no stranger to working with children. Her grassroots approach to acceptance of non-binary role models has also caught the attention as a documentary subject for the Salt School for Documentary Studies.
