Bring your chairs/blankets and picnic lunch to hang out with friends and neighbors. Toss a Frisbee, play cornhole, and have fun playing lawn games provided by Portsmouth Rec. Enjoy live music and a special community day in the park!
While the event is free, food will be for sale at The Prop, our online kitchen and concession stand.
Free parking at Peirce Island – shuttle bus available for those who need a ride.

Three of the Seacoast’s most versatile musicians present their most heavy-hitting and grooving project to date. Featuring Chris Klaxton and James Clark on drums and bass respectively, and Taylor O’Donnell on keyboards, guitar and vocals, this trio’s repertoire ranges from classic jazz standards to unique interpretations of popular rock, folk, R&B favorites, and also features a collection of O’Donnell’s original songs. From the eclectic soundscape of Bjork’s electronica to throwback 90s R&B, the result is Taylor’s distinctive, powerhouse voice set to a textured tapestry of varying grooves provided by Klaxton & Clark.

The Dapper Gents are a folk-rock band from Portland, ME, are known for their eclectic mix of popular hits and deeper cuts, all enriched with vibrant cello solos. They bring a unique twist to pop, rock, and folk hits from artists such as Mumford and Sons, The Pixies, The Lumineers, and Alabama Shakes.
